What Regular Cleaning Covers
A regular cleaning visit follows a consistent routine: kitchens wiped down, bathrooms sanitized, floors vacuumed and mopped, surfaces dusted, beds made, garbage removed. It's designed to maintain a home that's already reasonably clean.
Regular cleaning is priced at $45/hr per cleaner. It works best on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule — the more frequently we visit, the less time each visit takes, which is why recurring clients get discounts of 5–15%.
What Deep Cleaning Covers
Deep cleaning goes significantly further. In addition to everything in a regular clean, it includes: inside the oven, inside the fridge, inside cabinets and drawers, behind and under appliances, baseboards, window sills, door frames, light switches, ceiling fans, and grout lines in bathrooms.
Deep cleaning is priced at $50/hr per cleaner — $5 more per hour because it genuinely takes longer and requires more detail work. A first-time deep clean of a 2-bedroom condo typically takes 4–5 hours with two cleaners.
When Do You Need a Deep Clean?
We recommend a deep clean in these situations:
- →First visit after a long gap between cleans (3+ months)
- →Moving into a new home or apartment
- →Moving out and need to restore the unit
- →Before or after a renovation
- →Seasonal reset (spring cleaning, before the holidays)
- →After a period of illness in the home
If your home hasn't been professionally cleaned in a while, starting with a deep clean and then moving to regular maintenance visits is almost always the smarter approach — and the one we recommend to new clients.

Think of it this way: regular cleaning is like a consistent workout routine that keeps you fit. Deep cleaning is like a full medical checkup — you don't need it every week, but skipping it indefinitely isn't a great idea either.
